My 21st Birthday

Hello there, on Sunday the 6th of July, my family and I went to TGI Fridays to celebrate my 21st birthday in advance as my parents won't be able to come home early from work on the 8th which is my actual birthday. I will not put much pictures from Sunday because a lot of them are food photos; I am very thankful that everything went according to plan. On the other hand, a couple of my friends and I have planned to go to the city on the 8th to hang around. Little did I know, my friends have organised and planned something else for me!

On the day of my birthday, my friend Leslie rang me up and said that she was going to be late. She kept on pushing and pushing the meet up time until she told me that she was going to pick me up instead. When she arrived, she kept saying sorry because her mother made her run errands for a "corporate work party". We drove to Stockade botanical garden to drop off some chairs. As we walked in the empty park, I was confused as Leslie's mother wasn't around... all of a sudden, my friends jumped out behind the bushes and said "SURPRISE!!" I completely bought her story and kept laughing my ass off. It was amazing, I never, ever thought someone will throw me a surprise party (aside from that time back in high school where my best friends brought me a cake). After all the laughter, food, and catching up we drove to Waterfallgully park at the foot of Adelaide Hills. It was amazing! we trekked toward the first two waterfalls. Some of us including myself were wearing the wrong shoes as it was an impromptu trip. However, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

All in all, I'm glad we did because the view on top of the falls was amazing! So far, it was the best birthday ever!

Rearranging My Bedroom

Before and After

First of all, how atrocious is the before picture?! After watching House Rules last night, I had an urge to rearrange my bedroom. I decided to go on a mission today as it has been a long time since I have rearrange my room. Also, it needed a thorough cleaning because for some reason, it accumulates so much dust very quickly. To be honest, I only moved around four things today and these are my lamp, bed, shoe rack and mirror. However, I am so amazed at how spacious my room has become and it seems to be a bit more "airy" as well. Overall, I think I may have to buy a rug to put in between the bed and shoe rack so it's not so bare. Also, I have to figure out how to set up an electrical extension because my bed is now too far away from a power outlet :( By the way, I apologise if the photos are like this, once I'm totally happy with the layout of my bedroom, I will try my hardest to take proper photos so I can share it again.
